β’ We are seeking a highly skilled IBM DataStage Developer to join our team supporting through Cognizant. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL development, data integration, and performance tuning using IBM DataStage within large-scale enterprise environments.
β’ Required Skills:
β’ 8+ years of experience in IBM DataStage (v11.x or later) development.
β’ Strong knowledge of ETL methodologies, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.
β’ Hands-on experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
β’ Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
β’ Experience working with Oracle, Teradata, or DB2 databases.
β’ Solid understanding of data quality and data governance principles.
β’ Knowledge of Agile methodology and working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL jobs using IBM DataStage for large data processing tasks.
β’ Extract data from multiple sources and load it into data warehouses or data marts.
β’ Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and Data Modelers to implement solutions.
β’ Ensure ETL solutions meet business requirements and performance expectations.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve DataStage job failures and performance issues.
β’ Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support integration/system testing.
β’ Maintain and enhance existing ETL workflows and processes.
β’ Follow best practices for version control, job optimization, and documentation.
