Job Overview
Robert Half's technology talent solutions team, in collaboration with Protiviti, is seeking a skilled ETL Developer to support a dynamic, client-driven AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Actimize implementation for transaction monitoring efforts. This fully remote contract position focuses on ETL development, defect analysis, and process enhancements for a critical financial compliance initiative. If you have a proven track record of ETL development expertise, strong experience working on Actimize projects, and are comfortable solving challenging data transformation issues, this opportunity is for you.
Protiviti will oversee and manage the day-to-day activities, providing technical guidance and strategy execution across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and resolve ETL defects while designing and implementing enhancements for Actimize implementations supporting AML Transaction Monitoring.
• Architect, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient ETL solutions to ensure data integration best practices are followed.
• Collaborate effectively with Protiviti team members and client stakeholders to align deliverables with strategic business goals.
• Perform root-cause analysis leveraging a deep understanding of Actimize databases, data models, and platform architectures.
• Troubleshoot issues across the AML Transaction Monitoring ETL workflow and propose actionable improvements.
• Document technical designs and transformations according to client compliance standards and policies.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and solutions to technical leads, project managers, and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of professional ETL development experience, with a focus on delivering innovative and high-quality solutions.
• Hands-on Actimize experience: Strong working knowledge of Actimize data models, platform architecture, and transaction monitoring systems.
• Proficiency with diverse ETL tools, frameworks, and transformation processes.
• Familiarity with AML Transaction Monitoring workflows, compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address defects and process gaps effectively.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to coordinate within distributed, remote teams.
• Prior consulting experience or working in a professional services capacity is preferred but not required.
Project Details and Expectations
• Compensation: $65–$85/hour (based on experience and expertise).
