Location: Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid β 3 days onsite per week)
W2 Only - No Corp to Corp
Employment Type: 12+ Month Contract
$65-$75 HR depending on experience
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join a Kanban Agile delivery team supporting a large-scale data warehouse and analytics environment. This role involves hands-on development and strategic collaboration to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver scalable data solutions.
As a contingent resource, you will consult on initiatives with broad impact, contribute to the resolution of multi-faceted technical challenges, and collaborate closely with client stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio in a data warehouse environment.
β’ Analyze and resolve complex software engineering problems involving multiple systems and stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, plan deliverables, and ensure successful execution.
β’ Apply deep understanding of data warehouse architectures, compliance standards, and engineering best practices.
β’ Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Kanban delivery framework.
Minimum Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent (including consulting, military, or academic experience).
β’ Proficiency in the following technologies:
β’ Ab Initio (ETL) β 1β2 years hands-on experience
β’ Teradata / SQL β 1β2 years
β’ UNIX / Shell scripting
β’ Autosys job scheduling
β’ Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and processing architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience working in Agile/Kanban environments.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.
