Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior ETL Developer with strong hands-on experience in Ab Initio and Teradata to support,
The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes and data workflows within a Teradata-based data warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop ETL solutions using Ab Initio GDE, TRMC, and Metadata Hub
Write complex SQL queries using Teradata SQL and ANSI SQL
Utilize Teradata utilities: BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPump
Develop and maintain UNIX/Linux shell scripts for automation
Perform impact analysis, error tracking, and code versioning
Collaborate with BI teams and support OLAP tools like MicroStrategy
Support cloud-based data solutions, Web API integration, and data streaming (Kafka/JMS)
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in software or data engineering
Strong Ab Initio development (graphs, PDL scripting, debugging)
Expertise in Teradata and related tools/utilities
Proficient in UNIX/Linux scripting and command-line operations
Knowledge of data modeling (3NF & Dimensional)
Experience with BI dashboards and performance tuning
Familiarity with Web APIs, cloud technologies, and real-time data streaming
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong documentation and communication skills
Mentoring or training experience
