We are seeking a skilled ETL Engineer to drive end-to-end data integration strategies across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with ETL design and development (Informatica preferred) and hands-on knowledge of data governance using Collibra. This role is key in ensuring seamless data flows, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead the design, development, and deployment of ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter/Cloud.
β’ Collaborate with data architects and business teams to integrate data from various source systems (on-prem and cloud).
β’ Drive data governance efforts by implementing Collibra workflows for metadata management, data lineage, and stewardship.
β’ Create and maintain data models, technical mappings, and source-to-target documentation.
β’ Define and enforce data integration standards and best practices.
β’ Monitor data quality and resolve issues related to data movement, transformation, and integrity.
β’ Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements via Collibra catalogs and lineage reports.
β’ Mentor junior data engineers and coordinate with offshore teams.
Required Skills
β’ 8+ years in data integration & ETL design.
β’ Strong proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, or similar ETL tools.
β’ Working experience with Collibra for data cataloging, metadata management, and stewardship workflows.
β’ Strong SQL and data modeling skills (logical/physical models).
β’ Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality metrics, and data privacy practices (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
β’ Ability to work across cross-functional teams and lead discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
β’ Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
β’ Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
β’ Collibra Ranger Certification or other Collibra training.
β’ Knowledge of data lineage tools, REST APIs, or data fabric architecture is a plus.
