Role description
β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ Only candidates with business analyst, direct Aviation and MRO software experience will be considered. β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ Business Systems Analyst II (Aviation / MRO) Location: Remote Duration: 3-Month C2H (FT after 90 days) Summary The Business Systems Analyst II (BSA) is responsible for supporting the technical execution of one or more MRO projects. This includes gathering and documenting customer requirements, coordinating technical tasks, and ensuring smooth execution from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation and MRO terminology, enabling them to identify issues, raise critical questions, and drive projects to completion. Responsibilities β€’ Lead and support technical tasks throughout project execution phases. β€’ Gather, document, and validate requirements by interviewing stakeholders and understanding customer needs. β€’ Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly translated into deliverables. β€’ Develop documentation such as business requirements, system specifications, and process flows. β€’ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage timelines, deliverables, and project milestones. β€’ Support testing phases including integration, system validation, and UAT. β€’ Ensure all deliverables meet compliance, regulatory, and quality standards. β€’ Facilitate communication across departments, proactively escalating issues and tracking resolutions. Skills & Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 3+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent). β€’ Strong experience in requirements analysis, documentation, and process improvement. β€’ Aviation background preferred, especially within an MRO environment. β€’ Experience with MRO software (Veryon Tracking+ highly desired). β€’ Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Word, Excel, Jira, and MS Project. β€’ Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. β€’ Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. β€’ Experience with data mapping and documentation of system integration touchpoints. β€’ Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Skills β€’ Knowledge of ETL processes and data validation. β€’ Familiarity with process automation and enterprise asset management (EAM) systems. β€’ Lean / Six Sigma background for process improvement initiatives.
