About the Role
We are partnering with a leading international law firm in London to hire a Finance Oracle Architect & Developer. This is a highly technical, hands-on contract role focused on providing BAU support and development for the Oracle Fusion ERP system. You will play a critical role in ensuring stable system operations, building integrations, and designing enhancements- particularly around core finance modules.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Provide business-as-usual (BAU) maintenance and support for the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system.
• Architect, design, and develop solutions for core finance modules, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), and Order Management (OM).
• Design and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect Fusion ERP with other systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Oracle Fusion performance, configuration, and data issues.
• Work closely with finance stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to translate business requirements into Oracle-based solutions.
• Implement enhancements and customization, including workflow, automation, and data flows.
• Participate in deployments, unit testing, UAT, and support cut-over to updates or new functionality.
• Document technical designs, solution architecture, and configuration changes.
Experience & Skills Required
• Proven experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, especially with modules such as AR, AP, GL, Cash Management, and OM.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other Oracle integration technologies.
• Excellent development skills in Oracle (PL/SQL, REST APIs, Oracle Cloud tooling, etc.).
• Deep understanding of financial processes in ERP: order-to-cash, record-to-report, procure-to-pay.
• Experience working in a regulated or professional services environment (law firm, finance, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management: ability to bridge technical and business teams.
• Ability to hit the ground running in a BAU + development context and work independently in a high-pressure environment.
Why This Role Is Exciting
• Join a prestigious, global law firm and contribute to its critical finance transformation.
• Work on cutting-edge Oracle Cloud architecture and design high-impact integrations.
• Take ownership of your work: lead designs, drive improvements, and influence how finance systems evolve.
• Fast contract turnaround: this is an urgent hire, with a streamlined one-stage interview process.
• You’ll have real visibility and impact, working directly with finance and IT leadership.
