THIS IS A W2 ROLE Financial Markets Data Analyst New York City, NY We need: A senior Financial Markets Data Analyst with experience supporting Capital Markets projects around Market Data feeds. This role involves evaluating and optimizing various financial market data feeds to improve the investment team's process and explore how market data can support the automation and analysis of business workflows using AI. Candidates will analyze and assess various financial market data feeds to identify valuable insights for the investment and asset management teams, develop and maintain data processing systems to ensure efficient handling of real-time and historical market data, and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to present complex financial data in an easily digestible format. This role involves evaluating and optimizing various financial market data feeds to improve the investment team's process and explore how market data can support the automation and analysis of business workflows using AI. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field • Strong experience in financial markets data analysis, preferably within an IT or quantitative role • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL or high proficiency in Excel • Solid understanding of financial instruments, market microstructure, and economic indicators • Demonstrated interest and knowledge in Generative AI and its applications in financial analysis. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and storage The ideal candidate will have a passion for financial markets, a deep understanding of various data types provided by vendors, and the ability to leverage cutting-edge technologies to drive investment insights.?Join our team and play a crucial role in transforming raw financial data into actionable intelligence for our investment professionals
