Overview:
The fixed-term Operational Oversight Administrator – Data Analyst, will join us to collect, analyse and interpret our data and identify any trends, patterns and insights, helping us to make data-driven decisions as a business.
You’ll work with a variety of tools and techniques to clean, prepare and visualise data and communicate your findings to stakeholders within the business. In addition, you will support with creating automation solutions, but gaining a great understanding of our products, processes and systems architecture.
This role is based on a hybrid basis from our city centre office in Leeds, so you will need to be within a commutable distance to enable you to be in the office each week. During training, you may need to be in the office on a full-time basis.

• Knowledge of the financial services industry, in addition to knowledge of the relevant FCA regulations and escalation process
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate well with internal colleagues by listening and articulating information effectively to facilitate two-way communication
• In depth knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• The drive and desire to constantly seek to improve the way business is done through analysis, creativity, problem-solving and change initiatives
• A results-focused outlook, with the desire to meet and exceed performance objectives and quality standards to achieve results
• Great teamworking skills, with the ability to manage your own workload
• Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
It would be nice to have:
• FCA experience and awareness
• IOC or ICSA qualification
Day to Day, you will:
• Gather, clean and prepare data from various sources to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies that can provide valuable insights for the organisation
• Present findings to stakeholders in a format that is easy to understand, ensuring that insights can be effectively used to make data-driven decisions
• Use data to identify and solver business problems, providing actionable insights that can help improve processes and outcomes
• Ensure processes and procedures have effective controls and that documentation is kept up-to-date and relevant
• Fully comply with internal and external procedure and FCA regulations, including CASS and MiFID II rules
