Description
A leading company in the personal finance and credit management industry is seeking a Fraud Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support its Trust & Safety team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a data-driven detail oriented passionate about fraud prevention and risk analysis. You will play a key role in identifying suspicious activity through data analytics and enhancing fraud mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities: Analyze large and complex datasets to detect fraudulent behavior and identify emerging trends. Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to monitor fraud metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Trust & Safety, Product, and Engineering, to deliver actionable insights. Evaluate the effectiveness of current fraud detection and prevention mechanisms, recommending improvements where necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience in data analytics, fraud analysis, or business intelligence. Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience in the financial technology or consumer finance industry is a plus.
