Full-Stack Developer & Future Tech Lead (Fintech SaaS, Remote UK-Based)

The Role Starting on an ad hoc consultancy basis, you’ll oversee and develop our platform end-to-end, with the opportunity to grow into our long-term technical lead/CTO position. You’ll be responsible not just for writing code, but for driving innovation, ensuring scalability, and influencing the strategic direction of the business. Responsibilities • Own the development and scaling of TrendEdge.ai’s platform. • Enhance and expand dashboards, alerts, and visualisations for thousands of users. • Lead integrations with APIs, alternative data feeds, and AI-powered models. • Oversee database management (MySQL) and ensure high standards of security and reliability. • Guide DevOps practices (backups, deployments, version control). • Collaborate directly with the founder on long-term strategy, product roadmap, and innovation. What We’re Looking For • A full-stack developer: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL. • Experience with data visualisation libraries (Highcharts, D3.js, etc.). • Strong skills in API integration (REST). • Familiarity with AI/ML integration a plus. • Comfortable with DevOps basics (deployment, staging, backups). • A problem-solver who thinks commercially, not just technically. • Ambition to grow into a leadership/CTO role in a scaling fintech.
