Software Engineer Wilmington, DE ( 5 days onsite) Local candidate only (In-person Interview required.) ; Sponsorship for H1B $55 to $75/hr on W2 This job is for a Senior Software Engineer with 5-8 years of experience specializing in AWS and Azure cloud development. Here's a summary of the key requirements and responsibilities: Key Skills & Experience: Cloud Platforms: Proficient in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure application development, including their respective development toolsets. Programming: Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language, with Python being a must-have, especially with AWS (Spark and Glue). Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security. Overall Software Lifecycle: Working proficiency across the entire software engineering discipline, from business analysis and development to testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement. Content Migration: Experience with content migration is essential. Key Responsibilities: Configure, set up, and optimize the AWS platform (especially for eGain migration), ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Provide technical support and troubleshooting. Write software code, including Python widgets, for production systems. Analyze complex datasets. Investigate new approaches to business problems and products. Collaborate with project managers to align roles with migration requirements. Nice-to-haves: Recent client experience. eGain experience.
