Gen AI Developer

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong backgrounds in software development and hands-on expertise with Generative AI tooling. The ideal candidates will combine a solid foundation in backend and cloud development with the ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, design, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Python, and AWS Cloud Services. • Build and optimize microservices architectures and design robust, secure APIs. • Work with large-scale databases (PostgreSQL, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Oracle/DB2, MongoDB) to design efficient data flows and queries. • Apply Generative AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Claude Code, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate coding, debugging, and solution design. • Leverage prompt engineering and advanced interaction with AI assistants for efficient problem-solving. • Participate in full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and support. • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Contribute to technical decision-making and provide leadership in best practices and emerging technologies. Qualifications • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Glue, and related services. • Proficiency in Java and Python for backend development. • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle/DB2, MongoDB, Elasticsearch). • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API design. • Demonstrated use of Generative AI tools in a production development setting; experience with Agent Mode is a strong plus. • Knowledge of prompt engineering for effective AI collaboration. • Excellent technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Skills • Experience in large-scale data processing and performance optimization. • Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD practices and cloud-native deployments. • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks or applied machine learning projects (nice to have).
