Generative AI Engineer

Role: AI and Analytics Specialist Location: Newport Beach, CA Duration: 12+ Months The AI and Analytics Specialist will support our Analytics efforts and will play a key role in our growth and long-term success by leading and managing analytics projects from inception to completion. This role requires a mix of AI, Analytical, Business, and Technical acumen, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will work closely with corporate teams to leverage enterprise infrastructure, partner with technology to integrate Analytics solutions into business tools and collaborate across divisions to ensure alignment and integration of AI initiatives. How you’ll help move us forward: • Utilize AI (GenAI as well as traditional) techniques to create innovative solutions and insights. • Develop and implement advanced analytics models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. • Work closely and amicably with various enterprise and divisional technology teams to integrate AI solutions and Analytics. • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes. • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings effectively. The experience you bring: • Generative AI \ LLM expertise (e.g. Open AI, AWS Bedrock, Snowflake Cortex or Google Gemini), POC to Production implementation. • Fluency in Python including UI build (StreamLit would be a plus). • Advanced Analytics and Data Science experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a relevant role • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with multiple projects simultaneously. What makes you stand out: • Experience in the Workforce Benefits or Insurance business is a definite plus - especially in Underwriting, Enrollment, Claims, Benefits Operations and\or Sales. • Experience applying Gen AI techniques and/or Analytics to key business processes • Prior experience in developing knowledge extraction, conversational agents, virtual assistants, autonomous systems or agentic frameworks. • Experience with visualization tools Tableau, PowerBI or Salesforce CRM Analytics • Ability to manage Analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
