ElevationHR is hiring two Geospatial Data Engineers for a Fortune 500 energy & utilities company’s Digital Enablement team in Downtown Houston, TX. This is a hands-on, strategic role building the geospatial data infrastructure that powers AI, analytics, and data modernization initiatives enterprise-wide. If you’re passionate about GIS, Azure cloud solutions, and building scalable pipelines that make data actionable this role is for you! Key Responsibilities • Build Scalable Data Pipelines – Integrate GIS & non-spatial data to power enterprise analytics. • Enable Automation & Monitoring – Apply DevOps/DataOps best practices for reliability. • Develop APIs & Services – Provide secure, performant access to GIS datasets. • Engineer Cloud Solutions – Work with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and data lakes. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Partner with Data Scientists, Solution Architects & Business Analysts. • Optimize Performance – Tune pipelines and troubleshoot complex workflows. • Implement Version Control & CI/CD – Use Git, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes.
