Job Role: GW Policy Center Developer
Location: Brussels or Antwerp, with partial remote work possible (Hybrid (at least 2 days in a week)

Main responsibilities
β’ System Development
β’ Write, improve and test programs based on functional or technical detailed analysis.
β’ Perform integration, regression tests and performance tests as to verify consistency and interaction with the other components of the applications.
β’ Technical design
β’ Translate the functional analysis into a technical analysis to create a framework within which the system will be realized and draw up a global and documented technical analysis.
β’ Under some circumstances and conditions, capable of directly discussing with Business as to capture their requirements, translate them
β’ IT Testing and User Acceptance Testing
β’ Support the IT team in the execution of the IT Testing (System Testing and IT E2E Testing)
β’ Support the IT Team in the development of an acceptance test environment.
β’ Support the users in performing their tests.
β’ Critically analyze the test results, test defects and make the necessary adjustments (or get them made).
β’ Implementation
β’ Implement and follow up the novelties (programs, parameterization, documentation, ...)
β’ Take into account possible interactions with other domains and after agreement of the business.
β’ Provide technical support in the implementation of important projects.
Main Skills
β’ Language
β’ Very good knowledge of English. French or Dutch knowledge is an asset.
β’ Must have
β’ University degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience in a similar position.
β’ Experience in preparing technical analysis (preferably UML)
β’ High proven experience with development in a Guidewire environment.
β’ ACE certified in Policy Center.
β’ High proven experience in Policy Center configuration/integration.
β’ Knowledge of test methodology.
β’ Knowledge of JavaScript and ReactJS
β’ Assets
β’ Experience with Jira.
β’ Experience with Agile and scrum methodology.
β’ Experience in the Insurance sector, preferably in the field "Billing and Accounting".
β’ Certified in Billing Center or IS Integration or Claim Center.
β’ Knowledge of Guidewire Digital Portals
β’ Nice to have
β’ Experience with logging systems as Datadog, Kibana.
β’ Knowledge of PRINCE2 methodology.
β’ Experience with Enterprise Architect.
