Role description
Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced HashiCorp Engineer to work on a project with one of our premier clients in the banking industry. This is a remote role operating in the Eastern Time Zone. Applicants must be able to work for any US employer without additional work visa sponsorship. What YOU will do: β€’ Design, implement, and maintain HashiCorp Vault infrastructure, focusing on automation and security best practices β€’ Build and maintain automated workflows for policy creation, role assignments, and namespace configurations β€’ Utilize Packer to automate the provisioning and configuration of Vault environments β€’ Develop and manage telemetry integrations, including Datalog, to capture system metrics and events β€’ Create and maintain robust alerting and monitoring strategies to ensure Vault health and availability β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve Vault-related issues in a timely and efficient manner β€’ Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure and scalable deployments What YOU will bring us: β€’ Proven experience working with HashiCorp Vault in enterprise environments, minium of 5 years β€’ Strong hands-on experience with Packer for automating Vault deployments β€’ Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) β€’ Experience automating Vault policy, role, and namespace creation β€’ Familiarity with metrics systems and observability tools, especially Datalog β€’ Experience building and maintaining monitoring and alerting pipelines β€’ Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment β€’ Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Benefits Include: Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, Short term Disability, Long-term Disability, Life Insurance, Education Benefits and more.
