Responsibilities Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that support clinical and operational decision-making. Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Utilize SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis. Collaborate with IT and health information management teams to design systems that enhance data collection processes. Conduct data mining activities to identify trends and patterns relevant to managed care and clinical trials. Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings for stakeholders. Apply medical terminology knowledge to ensure accurate interpretation of healthcare data. Support ongoing projects related to bioinformatics and system design within the organization. Skills Proficiency in SQL and experience with various databases is essential. Strong data analysis skills with a focus on data management techniques. Familiarity with Epic systems is a plus. Knowledge of managed care processes, clinical trials, and acute care settings. Experience in bioinformatics or health information management is advantageous. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
