Role:- Infrastructure Developer
Location:- Roseland NJ, Alpharetta GA or Norfolk, VA (Hybrid)
Job Description:-
β’ Infrastructure team looking for a Developer that knows enterprise storage or has done some level of coding with enterprise infrastructure
β’ Team focuses on self-service development, more on the storage side, so looking for someone who understand storage and infrastructure as a code (IaC)
β’ Looking for a developer but also has knowledge on the infrastructure side (on -prem and cloud)
β’ For all the cloud deployments, ADP wants to use Ansible and Terraform; that is where the team is moving toward
β’ Very heavy on API Development and Python - Number 1 focus, managing them, creating modules for reusability
β’ Not looking for a Python Dev, looking for someone who insightful on how infrastructure works
β’ Terraform
β’ Jenkins and Bitbucket
β’ Knowledgeable of how DevOps works
β’ Monitoring tools: Splunk (understand how it all works; create dashboards, debugging, creating dashboards)
β’ Storage background with python dev as well
β’ STaaS; How do you automate capabilities that you are enabling the end user (other business users), when you go to a portal to use catalog items to request storage, backup, etc. That catalog item and backend code will be what the developer will be working on
β’ ADP is trying to make things a self-service, and also on the operations side, make things self-healing
β’ Looking for someone with Development skills, on prem Storage skills, and cloud knowledge in order to facilitate self-service and self-healing to designing things so ADP can provision to use little to no human effort as possible and all automated
