ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a data-driven technology and digital services organization seeking an Interim Revenue Reporting Manager to support revenue reporting and analytics in a complex environment.
This hands-on role partners with Revenue Accounting, Finance Systems, FP&A, and analytics teams to translate data into actionable insights while supporting reporting, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
β’ Own and evolve revenue reporting and analysis, including recurring and ad-hoc deliverables supporting key revenue metrics.
β’ Build and maintain scalable reports, analyses, and dashboards that improve visibility into revenue performance, drivers, and trends.
β’ Deliver clear, actionable insights through variance analysis, trend evaluation, and executive-ready reporting materials.
β’ Partner with finance systems, analytics, and business intelligence teams to support data sourcing, automation, and reporting enhancements.
β’ Collaborate with FP&A and forecasting teams to analyze revenue trends, explain variances, and support forward-looking assessments.
β’ Support analysis of complex or unusual revenue activity and assist with audit, compliance, and internal review needs.
β’ Identify opportunities to improve revenue-related processes, data quality, and reporting efficiency across the close and reporting cycle.
β’ Support revenue accounting leadership with special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and time-sensitive deliverables, operating with a high degree of ownership.
REQUIREMENTS:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional certification a plus.
β’ 6+ years of progressive experience across accounting, financial analysis, reporting, and public accounting environments; public accounting experience required.
β’ Strong foundation in revenue accounting and core financial reporting principles, with the ability to analyze data, identify drivers, and translate results into meaningful insights.
β’ Advanced Excel skills required; experience partnering with technical teams to work with structured financial data and reporting tools preferred.
β’ Exposure to reporting, analytics, or data visualization platforms and enterprise financial systems (e.g., Oracle or similar) preferred.
β’ Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, executive-ready outputs while operating effectively as a hands-on individual contributor.
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across finance and non-finance stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Ventura County, with regular on-site presence as required by the role.
