Investment Data Management Analyst

Investment Data Management Analyst Location: Whippany, NJ, Hybrid Overview The Investment Data Management Analyst will support the Global Investment platforms within the MIM Investments office. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of investment data through daily, monthly, and year-end activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Aladdin trade management and analytics systems, data reconciliation, and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities • Perform daily quality checks to ensure investment data is accurate, complete, reliable, relevant, and timely. • Construct various security types in the Aladdin trade management and analytics system. • Reconcile principal and income-related cash breaks between Aladdin portfolios and MIM’s Investment Book of Record (BNYM/IBOR). • Document and maintain standard processes and procedures for data integrity. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve data issues. • Monitor and action data integrity checks at the start and end of each day. • Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot data quality issues reported by end users. • Partner with team members across the organization to address and resolve data integrity issues. • Analyze, reconcile, and resolve cash differences, determining the root cause of principal and income breaks. Qualifications • 5–7 years of experience in Aladdin trade management and analytics system, or equivalent experience in security master/operations. • Experience setting up bonds and other securities in trading platforms. • Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes (preferably with Bloomberg and other investment systems). • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
