We are seeking an experienced IRIS Data Engineer to develop and support clinical interoperability solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in InterSystems IRIS for Health, HL7, FHIR (R4), and ObjectScript, and be capable of building scalable, secure healthcare data pipelines in a HIPAA-compliant environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows using IRIS for Health • Process and transform HL7 v2/v3 messages (e.g., ADT, ORU, ORM) • Perform HL7-to-FHIR conversions and expose secure FHIR APIs • Develop custom scripts and ObjectScript for routing, transformation, and validation • Ensure data security and compliance with HIPAA, TLS, and OAuth2 standards • Collaborate with informatics, engineering, and compliance teams Required Skills: • Strong experience with InterSystems IRIS for Health • Expertise in HL7 v2/v3 messaging and FHIR resource mapping • Proficient in ObjectScript and FHIR API development • Familiarity with clinical data standards (e.g., CDA, X12) • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
