Role description
We are seeking a skilled InterSystems IRIS Developer with strong expertise in ObjectScript, HL7 integrations, and healthcare interoperability standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IRIS for Health, understanding of production deployments using Kubernetes (IKO), and exposure to CQ Initiator/Responder workflows. The role also requires knowledge of Azure cloud, custom HL7 implementations, and familiarity with SDA/CCDA/JSON data formats.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and maintain solutions using InterSystems IRIS/Cache with a focus on ObjectScript, custom classes, and extension properties.
β’ Utilize IRIS-specific features in production environments and contribute to robust healthcare application development.
β’ Work with CQ implementation workflows, both Initiator and Responder types.
β’ Implement and troubleshoot HL7 interfaces, including custom messaging formats (SDA, CCDA, JSON).
β’ Deploy and manage IRIS for Health in Kubernetes environments using IKO (InterSystems Kubernetes Operator).
β’ Contribute to cloud-related initiatives with Azure, with a growing understanding of cloud-native patterns.
β’ Utilize adapters such as SFTP, HL7, HTTP for integrations with external systems.
β’ Collaborate in a team environment using GitHub, Serena, VS Code, and Linux/Unix tools.
β’ Participate in solution design, applying strong analytical thinking and problem-solving strategies.
β’ Communicate clearly and effectively across teams and stakeholders.
