Role description
IT Service Management Engineer
Pay Rate: $60-70/hr
Duration: Through EOY
Remote
Your Responsibilities
β’ Design, document and implement/configure ITSM solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and optimize workflows.
β’ Automate workflows and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
β’ Develop requirements for integrating ITSM platforms with other enterprise systems.
β’ Guide IT staff and end-users on ITSM tools and processes.
β’ Monitor and analyze KPIs and ITSM metrics to identify improvements.
β’ Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
β’ Occasional after-hours support and weekend work based on the on-call rotation.
Required Skills and Experiences
β’ 3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
β’ Knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., Team Dynamix (TDX), Jira, ServiceNow) and processes (incident, change, release, configuration).
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
β’ Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including business stakeholders and leadership.
β’ Experience in workflow automation or processes to improve efficiency.
β’ Experience in analyzing metrics and executing where improvements are visible.
β’ Experience in mentoring others.
β’ Familiarity with cloud computing technologies.
β’ Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
β’ Ability to persevere in the face of resistance or setbacks.
β’ Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Preferred Skills and Experiences
β’ Familiarity with migrations of ITSM solutions/software.
β’ We are migrating from ServiceNow to TeamDynamix, any similar experience is preferred but not required.
β’ Knowledge of ITSM processes within a Product led organization.
β’ Experience in cloud-based ITSM solutions.
β’ Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation.
β’ Comfortable interaction with the business and stakeholders.
