Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java API Azure Engineer in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
β’ Java API Azure Engineer will play a key role in modernizing and building new capabilities in the cloud
β’ Leverage modern Agile development practices and architecture patterns
β’ Work closely with a diverse team of technologists focused on innovation and collaboration
β’ As a Java API Azure Engineer, you will operate at a fast pace to deliver high-quality solutions
β’ Modernize existing capabilities and build new capabilities in the cloud
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent
β’ 15+ years of experience in full stack programming for scalable web applications
β’ Solid experience with Java Spring frameworks and libraries, preferably Spring Boot
β’ Hands-on experience with messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Service Bus
β’ Experience with public cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure
β’ Experience with databases such as Oracle and Postgres
β’ Experience with REST API integration and microservices architecture
β’ Experience with software testing tools like JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium
β’ Experience with Chaos Testing and SRE practices for resilient cloud applications
β’ Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture
β’ Experience mentoring junior engineers
β’ Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement
β’ Ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
