Lead AI Engineer
Locations: Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZ; Dallas, TX; Minneapolis, MN
(New Jersey β Metro Park available only in special cases due to limited seating)
Duration: 12 Months +
Lead AI Engineer driving critical innovation across cybersecurity initiatives. This position requires advanced software development experience, strong leadership capabilities, and deep familiarity with AI engineering frameworks and LLMs.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead AI development efforts across strategic initiatives with hands-on coding and architecture input.
β’ Guide junior team members and serve as a technical mentor.
β’ Architect and implement AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise systems.
β’ Enhance AI capabilities by embedding intelligence into legacy services using Python, Java, and/or C#.
β’ Ensure robust, secure deployment of solutions on internal and external cloud platforms.
Required Qualifications:
β’ 8+ years of full-stack development experience with strong knowledge of SDLC practices.
β’ Experience in Python, along with Java or C#.
β’ Experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks, and AI integration.
β’ Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP); experience with OpenShift (OCP) strongly preferred.
β’ Ability to operate independently and lead cross-functional development efforts.
Preferred Attributes:
β’ Strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to interface with stakeholders.
β’ Experienced in guiding software teams and setting architectural direction.
β’ Agile development background with strong execution discipline.
