Role description
Role: Lead Customer IVR Lead Developer
Location: Allentown, PA
Mode: Remote with some travel quarterly a couple days to events but not often and expenses covered
Duration: 6+ months contract
Position description:
β’ The successful candidate would lead a team of 10 developers working in the customer service space to deliver natural language based omni-channel (IVR, SMS, Chat) experience to our customers.
β’ The candidate will be required to learn the accompanying business logic in order to interpret requirements and deliver production-worthy work.
β’ Daily responsibilities will include completing user stories & leading the development team.
β’ The candidate will need to be able to make progress in a fast-paced environment with little oversight.
General:
β’ Full-stack application development experience - 5+ years of experience. Hands-on writing code, hands-on writing code and leading a development team must be the primary duties of most recent position
β’ Strong verbal/written communication & facilitation skills. Must be able to help business counterparts in finding optimal solutions and to communicate clearly with peers.
β’ Assertive leadership, eager to proactively find needs and fulfill them
β’ Passionate continual learner & also willing to take the time to understand architecture in existing systems
β’ Ability to understand complex architectures and be comfortable working with multiple teams
β’ Ability to conduct performance analysis, capacity management and troubleshoot large scale distributed systems
Required skills:
β’ IVR experience
β’ C#, .Net Core, Entity Framework Core, Substantial SQL experience
β’ WEB API, RESTful services
β’ Working knowledge Git or similar version-control software
β’ Web-services, 3rd party APIs, tools like Postman, SoapUI & Fiddler
β’ Familiar with production Azure DevOps environments
β’ Unit and Integration Testing
β’ Understanding of SOLID design principles & secure coding practices
β’ Microsoft Bot Framework and Cognitive services experience
β’ Serverless Azure Compute Services such as App services, Azure Functions
β’ Azure Storage such as Blob Storage, Data Lake Store, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL
