Role: Lead Data Engineer Location: Pennington, NJ (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote) Job Type: W2 Contract Experience: 10+ Years Job Description We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer / Data Technology Leader to drive enterprise-scale data initiatives. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to lead multiple scrum teams and deliver large-scale data solutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead multiple agile scrum teams delivering enterprise-level data solutions • Design and implement scalable data architectures and workflows • Administer and manage data preparation tools such as Alteryx, RapidMiner, and Tableau Prep • Develop and optimize high-performance SQL / PL-SQL queries • Build and maintain Python-based data processing and automation solutions • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments • Optimize workflow orchestration, scheduling, and task dependencies • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure scalability and reliability • Mentor teams on best practices, performance tuning, and code quality • Collaborate in a shared services environment to support cross-functional initiatives Required Skills & Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Technology roles • Strong experience with data preparation, orchestration, and integration • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and workflow orchestration • Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation • Strong expertise in SQL / PL-SQL performance tuning • Experience with Airflow or similar batch processing tools • Experience with OpenShift / containerized deployments • Strong understanding of CI/CD automation and pipeline management • Proven leadership experience delivering enterprise-scale data initiatives Nice to Have • Experience with Operational Insights • Exposure to shared services environments • Strong mentoring and team leadership skills • Experience with large enterprise data governance models How to Apply: Interested candidates can share their updated resumes at V2 Innovations Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
