BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Lead Senior DevOps Engineer in Chicago, IL Position Title: Lead Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Chicago, IL - 1 day onsite and 4 days remote Anticipated Start Date: 8/04/2025 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: Till end of this year Job Type: Contract: 40 hrs/week Payrate - $50 to $52.31/hr on W2 Job Description: Role/ Responsibilities: • Assist in design and development of the account application • Influencing peers, juniors, and seniors both within the organization and across the account. • Coordinate and collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to understand and solve problems, come up with creative solutions, and help with tracking and delivering within the release plan • Collaborate with Engineering and QA to resolve bugs Required Skills and Experience: • 8+ years’ experience in IT • 5+ years as Sr DevOps, with AWS hands-on experience • 7+ years CI/CD experience • 1+ Years experience in technical leadership role • Experience infrastructure provisioning using Terraforms, CloudFormation • Experience doing production support and able to guide the team. • Hands on experience in AWS provisioning and good knowledge of AWS Services like ECS – Fargate, OpenSearch. • Knowledge of CloudFormation scripts for automation purpose. • Experience in working on GitHub and GitHub actions. • Experience in Monitoring the Kibana / DataDog / Dynatrace and checking the latency issues if any. • Akamai – Understanding Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
