Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities A client with Kforce is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in Mountain View, CA. Duties: • Typically write code to generate web pages, access databases and business logic servers • Machine Learning Engineer will test and document software for web sites, and work with designers and content producers • Test and document software for web sites • Work with designers and content producers • Write, modify, and debug software for web sites • As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will write code to generate web pages, access databases and business logic servers Requirements • Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and the design of large-scale, resilient distributed systems • Proven experience in Data Engineering, including the design and implementation of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions • Must have experience using databases, systems and programming languages that develop software applications • Expert-level knowledge of backend software development, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL • Solid understanding of the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and large-scale data processing tools (Spark) • Core Competencies: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex technical and data-related challenges • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including engineers, designers, and partners • A platform engineering mindset, demonstrating active ownership of services, a drive for long-term technical maturity, and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
