Machine Learning Engineers

We have partnered with a trusted subcontractor supporting a major U.S. government agency, to actively recruit Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to join a high-impact team delivering on a large-scale document processing initiative. This is a 6-month freelance engagement as part of a blended team of engineers, project managers, and solution architects. You will help build, fine-tune, and scale advanced AI systems focused on vision-language models and document automation. Open Roles: We are hiring 8 full-time contract positions: • 4 Senior-Level ML Engineers / Data Scientists • 4 Mid-Level ML Engineers / Data Scientists Your Responsibilities May Include: • Applying or fine-tuning state-of-the-art vision-language models • Performing data engineering tasks within document processing pipelines • Designing, building, or maintaining AI evaluation systems • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in a mission-critical federal environment What We’re Looking For: ✔️ Proven experience with Vision-Language Models (e.g., Donut, LayoutLM, GPT-4V, Flamingo, etc.) ✔️ Experience with data engineering for document processing workflows ✔️ Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML evaluation tools and methods ✔️ Strong communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced project environments Requirements: ✅ Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to federal contract requirements) ✅ Must be physically located within the U.S. ✅ Able to pass a basic background check ✅ Available to work 40 hours/week during standard business hours Why Join This Project? 🌐 100% Remote Work 🚀 Cutting-edge AI applications in real-world federal systems 🤝 Work with a high-caliber team of AI experts and solution architects 🔒 Support national-level missions through technological innovation
