Marketing Data Analytics & Insights Manager
Position Overview
Our client, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company, is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Marketing Analytics & Insights Manager to support their entertainment client's marketing performance optimization through data-driven strategies and effective agency coordination.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing marketing/media performance, providing actionable insights, and implementing media mix optimization strategies. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies to support experimentation, build dashboards, and improve data pipelines. A critical part of the role involves serving as the primary point of contact for agency partners, ensuring alignment on data interpretation, reporting, and testing strategies.
This is a 40-hour-per-week, 6-month contract. Our client is open to a fully remote contractor, but they do have a preference for candidates who can work hybrid onsite (1-2 days per week) in New York City or Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze marketing and media performance to provide actionable recommendations and support ad hoc analysis
β’ Implement optimization strategies based on media mix model outputs and experimentation results
β’ Create and maintain dashboards for internal teams and external agencies
β’ Support experimentation and testing to improve marketing effectiveness
β’ Serve as primary liaison for all analytics-related communications with agencies
β’ Collaborate with data engineering to enhance marketing data pipelines and ensure integrity
β’ Improve governance and consistency in data handling with agencies
β’ Translate 3rd-party agency reports into internal insights, ensuring consistent interpretation of performance data
β’ Implement an incrementality testing roadmap with agencies, leading optimization discussions with partners
β’ Integrate agency data into tailored reporting frameworks
β’ Manage incrementality testing with agency partners
β’ Collaborate with internal marketing, data engineering, and external agency teams
Qualifications
β’ At least 3 years of experience in marketing analytics, media performance analysis or digital marketing
β’ Previous experience at a consulting firm or a large, matrixed organization
β’ Proven ability to analyze marketing/media data and extract actionable insights
β’ Proven ability to create and maintain dashboards for a variety of stakeholders
β’ Proven experience working with media mix models and implementing optimization strategies
β’ Proven experience managing external agency partnerships
β’ Familiarity with KPIs across paid media channels
β’ Expert-level experience with Excel and SQL
β’ Experience working with data visualization tools
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
