We are currently filling the following contract position with our client. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Marketing Data Specialist to maintain, enhance, and ensure the quality and compliance of our marketing database. This role focuses on executing data cleansing, enrichment, and governance processes across marketing automation and CRM platforms to support accurate segmentation, campaign execution, and reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on executor with expertise in data hygiene, platform administration, and global data privacy compliance. Responsibilities: β€’ Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and health of the marketing database through proactive monitoring, validation, and cleansing β€’ Upload, manipulate, format, and verify data in Excel prior to importing into CRM and marketing automation systems β€’ Perform campaign-related and routine database clean-up and list management tasks, including deduplication and enrichment β€’ Create and manage dynamic lists, suppression lists, automation rules, and completion actions within marketing automation platforms β€’ Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA through proper segmentation, opt-in governance, and documentation β€’ Collaborate with technology teams to evaluate and integrate new data sources and enrichment tools β€’ Support and test data flows, ingestion processes, and automation between systems such as Salesforce, Pardot, and third-party tools β€’ Provide recurring reports and insights on database size, health, and growth for stakeholders β€’ Apply data standards and governance best practices to ensure consistent usage and clean data entry across systems Qualifications: β€’ 4+ years of experience managing marketing or sales databases, ideally in B2B SaaS or global organizations β€’ Strong proficiency in Excel for large dataset manipulation and experience with CRM and MAP platforms such as Pardot, Salesforce, Marketo, or Eloqua β€’ Familiarity with enrichment tools like ZoomInfo, D&B, or LinkedIn Navigator β€’ Understanding of global data compliance laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their impact on marketing data practices β€’ Ability to segment audiences for campaigns and interpret requirements for execution β€’ Strong attention to detail with a passion for data hygiene and optimization β€’ Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred β€’ Working knowledge of SQL or Access for data querying is a plus β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience preferred MissionStaff is an equal opportunity employer.
