Mathematics Expert | $80/hr Remote

Position: Mathematics Expert (PhD) Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $65–$80/hour Location: Remote Duration: 1–2 months (subject to change) Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided): • Create and assess complex mathematical problems across various subdomains such as algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, optimization, and numerical analysis. • Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, mathematical rigor, and domain relevance. • Provide clear written feedback on math problem sets, proofs, and solutions. • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate and improve model performance. • Ensure scientific accuracy and academic precision in all mathematical content used to train or evaluate AI systems. Requirements: • PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics, or a related field from a top university. • Strong professional experience of academic experience (research, publication, teaching) or professional experience (mathematician, statistician, quantitative analyst, researcher, or similar). • Experience with tools like Python/R/Julia/Matlab, Jupyter/RMarkdown, and standard stats/ML libraries. • Deep subject-matter expertise across core areas of mathematics. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
