MDM Engineer (Jamf / Intune / Apple Device Management)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMStart Date: November 2025Duration: 1 Year (possibility of extension)Job Type: Contract (Onsite) About the Role We’re seeking an experienced MDM Engineer to manage and support enterprise-level mobile and desktop device management systems. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Jamf and Intune, capable of maintaining Apple and Android ecosystems, implementing best practices, and leading technical initiatives across the organization. This is a full-time onsite position in Wayzata, MN, working closely with IT, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless device management experience. Key Responsibilities Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for MDM platforms including Jamf, Intune, Apple Business Manager, and Managed Google Play. Manage and maintain Jamf MDM production and test environments. Administer Apple Business Manager and Intune/Entra connectors for Apple device management. Support and oversee macOS, iOS, and Android device management. Create and maintain configuration profiles, scripts, and automations for MDM systems. Manage vendor relationships for MDM platforms and coordinate escalations or enhancements. Define support structures, SOPs, and documentation for MDM operations. Provide L2/L3 technical support for all MDM platforms and endpoint management issues. Set hardware standards and manage application packaging and deployment for macOS and iOS. Ensure compliance and manage security rights for MDM environments. Oversee Android environment support through direct reports. Lead support teams for all scoped platforms and coordinate with IT/security/network teams as required. Required Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience with MDM platforms such as Jamf, Intune, or Apple Business Manager. Strong understanding of macOS, iOS, and Android device management. Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with configuration profiles, scripting, automation, and application deployment. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Ability to work onsite and provide live operational support during business hours. Preferred Qualifications Jamf certification (e.g., Jamf 200/300/400) Microsoft Intune or Entra certification Experience managing vendor relationships and IT infrastructure projects Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
