Medallion Architecture- W2 Role

Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our client’s team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures & Implement Medallion Architecture. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes across multiple sources and destinations.Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for scalable and organized data flow.Work with Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and Snowflake to build efficient data solutions.Optimize query performance and ensure data quality, security, and governance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Analysts, Data Scientists, BI developers) to deliver reliable and actionable data.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production and development environments.Required Skills: Strong experience in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning).Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Snowflake.Knowledge of Medallion Architecture for structured data management.Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.Experience working with large-scale datasets in cloud environments (preferably Azure).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Nice to Have: Experience with Databricks and Azure Data Lake.Knowledge of Python, Scala, or Spark SQL for advanced data engineering.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
