Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer

A key client of mine is actively recruiting for a Microsoft BI Developer, the client is a leading Data Consultancy based in the City of London, this is for a 6 month contract - outside of IR35. As a Developer, you will partner with stakeholders to transform complex business requirements into actionable insights. Working with tools such as Python, Microsoft Power BI, and other BI platforms, you will design and deliver reporting solutions that drive decision-making and create value for the client. You will have a solid background in handling complex business data. Key Tasks-: • Design and deliver high-quality reports and dashboards using Power BI. • Transform large, complex datasets into structured formats. • Analysing data to uncover patterns and identify new opportunities. • Develop insights and compelling visualisations using DAX, Power Query, and advanced data modelling techniques. • Using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), creating advanced calculations, KPIs, and measures to support robust reporting. • Building and optimising DAX models within Power BI or Analysis Services. • Design, build, and optimise automated workflows in Microsoft Power Automate. • Python programming, able to design, write, and maintain clean code. Key Skills / Experience-: • Data Analysis tools. MS Power BI with DAX. • Power Automate. • MS Azure. • Hands on experience in Python. • IT / Data Consultancy experience is essential.
