We are a dynamic and rapidly growing start-up company based in the UK, specialising in data visualisation, data engineering, digital transformation and AI.
As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a motivated and talented Fabric data analyst to join our team on a contract position working on specific client projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to contribute to our success while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement data modelling and ETL processes to integrate data from different sources into fabric data lake/data warehouse.
- Collaborate with the data and analytics team to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Analyse and interpret data to provide actionable insights and visualisations for various business stakeholders.
- Work closely with other teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and ensure the accuracy and relevance of reports.
- Proactively identify data quality issues and troubleshoot technical problems in Power BI solutions.
- Utilise Python and SQL for data manipulation, data cleansing, and data analysis tasks
Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the UK (Sponsored work permit).
- At least 2 years of practical experience or in developing and maintaining Microsoft Fabric data pipelines and Power BI reports and dashboards. Happy to accept candidates with a demonstrable portfolio showcasing their skills instead of experience.
- Possess a Power BI portfolio or samples of previous work to showcase your skills and abilities.
- Familiarity and experience using Power BI, Python and SQL
- A keen interest in continuous learning and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data visualisation and analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to derive insights from complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving start-up environment.
