Job Title: MS&T / Process Analytics Engineer / Bioprocess Data Specialist
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid β 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 24 Months
Target Start Date: End of September
Our client is seeking a MS&T Analytics Engineer with strong expertise in data engineering, visualization, and CPV (Continued Process Verification) analytics to support small molecule and cell/gene therapy manufacturing. This role will focus on turning complex manufacturing data into actionable insights to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Extract, clean, and transform data from Snowflake and other data sources.
β’ Build and maintain data models and tables to enable advanced analytics.
β’ Develop interactive visualizations and dashboards (Python, Spotfire, MATLAB) to communicate findings to process engineers and cross-functional teams.
β’ Collaborate with MS&T and manufacturing teams to interpret trends and deliver CPV analytics to support ongoing process verification.
Must-Have Skills
β’ Snowflake: Hands-on experience building data models/tables and cleaning/transforming data.
β’ Python: Strong data engineering skills (beyond basic scripting).
β’ Proven ability to pull and manipulate existing data (not focused on ingestion pipelines).
β’ Strong data visualization skills with the ability to translate raw data into clear, actionable insights.
β’ Background or strong exposure to Continued Process Verification (CPV) in pharma/biotech.
β’ MATLAB for visualization and analytics.
β’ Spotfire for advanced dashboarding and reporting.
Nice-to-Have Skills
β’ Experience in manufacturing or MS&T, especially small molecule or advanced therapies.
β’ Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical/data field.
β’ Familiarity with AWS or Azure deployments is a plus but not required.
