MuleSoft Tech Lead

Job Title: MuleSoft Tech Lead Location: Remote Hiring Mode: C2C Experience: 12+ Years of experience Job Description: Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced MuleSoft Tech Lead to join our technology team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of MuleSoft-based integrations, manage a team of developers, and ensure successful delivery of integration solutions that meet business needs and technical standards. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the end-to-end design and development of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to define integration requirements and architecture. • Manage and mentor a team of MuleSoft developers and integration engineers. • Oversee the development lifecycle, including code reviews, unit testing, and deployment. • Define and enforce MuleSoft best practices and coding standards. • Work with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft APIs and applications. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of MuleSoft services. • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, system errors, and performance bottlenecks. • Document integration processes, APIs, and system interfaces for long-term maintainability. • Stay up to date with MuleSoft releases, tools, and industry integration trends. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 6+ years of experience in integration development with at least 3+ years in MuleSoft. • Strong hands-on experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, and Anypoint Platform components (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, etc.). • Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with RAML or OpenAPI specifications. • Strong understanding of integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven architecture. • Proficiency in using MUnit, DataWeave, MuleSoft Connectors, and MEL (Mule Expression Language). • Experience with API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, etc.) and policy enforcement. • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. • MuleSoft certification(s) such as MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4) and MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect is a strong advantage. Preferred Skills: • Experience integrating with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and Oracle. • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Agile/Scrum project experience. • Background in software engineering or enterprise application development
