Responsibilities • As a Lead Open Telemetry Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Open Telemetry-based solutions. • You will work on instrumentation, data collection, and observability tools to ensure seamless integration and monitoring of applications. • This role involves writing documentation and promoting best practices around Open Telemetry. Must have: • Senior candidates with 8+ years of experience • Experience in Instrumentation: Expertise in at least one programming language supported by Open Telemetry and a broad knowledge of other languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, PowerShell, .NET) • Passion for Observability: Strong interest in observability and experience in writing documentation and blog posts to share knowledge. o Experience in Java instrumentation techniques (e.g., bytecode manipulation, JVM internals, Java agents) • Telemetry • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability platforms (E.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics (Splunk), Amazon Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor, Honeycomb)
