Responsibilities
β’ As a Lead Open Telemetry Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Open Telemetry-based solutions.
β’ You will work on instrumentation, data collection, and observability tools to ensure seamless integration and monitoring of applications.
β’ This role involves writing documentation and promoting best practices around Open Telemetry.
Must have:
β’ Senior candidates with 8+ years of experience
β’ Experience in Instrumentation: Expertise in at least one programming language supported by Open Telemetry and a broad knowledge of other languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, PowerShell, .NET)
β’ Passion for Observability: Strong interest in observability and experience in writing documentation and blog posts to share knowledge. o Experience in Java instrumentation techniques (e.g., bytecode manipulation, JVM internals, Java agents)
β’ Telemetry
β’ Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability platforms (E.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics (Splunk), Amazon Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor, Honeycomb)
