Job Title: OpenShift Cloud Engineer
Location: Woodall Rodgers, TX(Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years working with OpenShift (v4.15 and newer).
• Experience with:
• OpenShift Data Foundation / Platform Plus
• Ceph storage
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud
• Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and microservices
• Familiar with:
• Java, JBoss, nginx, Node.js
• Migrating apps to containers
• Scripting and configuration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Chef
• Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal).
• Basic networking knowledge (protocols, firewalls, load balancers).
• Willingness to document and share knowledge with the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• VMware (vCenter, vRA, vRO)
• Running OpenShift on bare metal
• ROSA and Azure
• SSL certificate management
• Agile practices (Kanban, sprints, stand-ups)
• Monitoring/logging tools (Dynatrace, QRadar)
