OpenText xECM Expertise:
β’ Installation and Configuration: Strong understanding of installing, configuring, and administering OpenText xECM for SAP solutions, including Content Server, Archive Server, and OTDS.
β’ Administration: Experience with administering xECM solutions, such as configuring live reports, web reports, scheduling, and export functionalities.
β’ Metadata Management: Ability to develop categories and perform metadata extraction using tools like OCC/Enterprise Scan.
β’ Workflow Design & Development: Good knowledge of designing, developing, and modifying workflows within OpenText Content Server.
β’ Reporting & Development: Experience building and modifying reports (Live Reports, WebReports) and custom taxonomy metadata.
β’ Smart UI Interfaces: Ability to build role-based Smart UI interfaces for business users.
β’ Responsible for new environment setup/upgrades/OSS Note Analysis and health checks of S4 xECM environments.
SAP Integration Skills:
β’ Integration with SAP Modules: Hands-on experience integrating xECM with S4 HANA,Ariba, 3rd party environments,etc
β’ SAP Authorization Management: Ability to implement Single Sign-On (SSO) using OTDS and manage SAP authorizations for OpenText access.
β’ Deep Integration Understanding: Knowledge of how OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Solutions integrates with SAP applications beyond simple attachment functionalities.
β’ ABAP Skills: For those involved in custom development, a strong background in ABAP is beneficial, especially for integrating OpenText solutions with SAP using OpenText APIs or framework customization.
Technical & General Skills:
β’ OpenText Content Server & Archive Server: Strong understanding of OpenText Content Server and Archive Server administration and Open Text Security roles.
β’ Programming Languages: Demonstrated experience in programming languages like Resful ABAP, OT Scripting, JavaScript, SQL, and Object-Oriented Programming.
β’ Web Services Technologies: Experience with Web Services technologies like SOAP, REST, WSDL, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
β’ Full Stack Development: Demonstrated experience with Full Stack development.
β’ Documentation : Needs to document configurations & customizations.
β’ Continuous Integration: Experience developing software in a continuous integration process.
β’ Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients, understand requirements, and support change and release management.
