Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Operations Strategy Analyst for a leading company in the energy industry. Responsibilities β€’ Identify, document, and assist in developing processes and gaps across departments. β€’ Perform daily processing tasks and minimize exceptions to ensure smooth operations. β€’ Use root cause analysis to solve errors, exceptions, and process gaps. β€’ Interpret complex data and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders and third parties. β€’ Ensure business requirements, regulations, and compliance standards are met in daily tasks and exception handling. β€’ Design and maintain a robust quality control process for daily tasks and exceptions. β€’ Provide user support for applications, projects, and processes. β€’ Generate routine and ad hoc reports, using data to drive performance and results. β€’ Prioritize and coordinate tasks effectively based on competing deadlines and business needs. β€’ Communicate tasks' upstream and downstream impact, making connections across teams. β€’ Take a proactive approach to research and analyze complex business issues, providing timely, accurate solutions. β€’ Conduct cost-benefit and efficiency analysis to improve processes continuously. β€’ Investigate remittance exceptions and ensure accurate posting to appropriate accounts. β€’ Work with vendors to address incentive fulfillment issues and other concerns. β€’ Review daily reports, identify anomalies, and take action accordingly. Qualifications β€’ High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant experience. β€’ At least 2 years of experience in an operations or analytical role. β€’ Strong passion for analytics with a focus on driving business performance. β€’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. β€’ SQL experience is a plus. β€’ Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Spotfire is a plus. β€’ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with stakeholders. β€’ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. β€’ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. β€’ Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. β€’ Capable of adapting to rapidly changing environments and priorities.
