Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Analytics Developer (OBIEE Developer) to design, develop, and optimize analytical and data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, data modeling, ETL frameworks, and BI dashboard development using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or OBIEE. This role requires a deep understanding of data performance tuning, large-scale data integration, and Agile development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Data Design & Modeling:
β’ Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise data warehousing and reporting needs.
β’ Ensure models align with business requirements and scalability standards.
β’ Oracle PL/SQL & Performance Tuning:
β’ Develop complex PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and packages.
β’ Analyze Oracle AWR reports and optimize queries, indexes, and partitions for performance improvements.
β’ ETL Development:
β’ Build robust and scalable ETL data frameworks with advanced error handling and automation capabilities.
β’ Integrate data from multiple sources to support analytics and reporting.
β’ Analytics Development:
β’ Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and BI Publisher.
β’ Work closely with business users to translate requirements into actionable insights.
β’ Integration & Testing:
β’ Ensure seamless integration of developed solutions into existing systems.
β’ Contribute to unit, integration, and regression testing.
β’ Agile & CI/CD Collaboration:
β’ Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, story refinement, retrospectives).
β’ Support CI/CD pipelines and version-controlled deployments.
β’ Problem Solving & Communication:
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
β’ Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ 7+ years of experience in Oracle Analytics, BI, or Data Engineering.
β’ Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
β’ Hands-on experience with OBIEE / Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and BI Publisher.
β’ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including CDC, indexing, partitioning, and data virtualization.
β’ Experience with ETL design and development.
β’ Proficiency in Unix/KSH shell scripting and familiarity with Python for data automation.
β’ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with performance tuning using AWR reports.
β’ Exposure to CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
β’ Prior experience in large-scale enterprise data environments.
