Role description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Palantir Foundry Engineer for a long-term, fully remote opportunity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building data pipelines, ontologies, and analytical applications within the Palantir Foundry platform. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to drive data-centric decision-making and scalable solutions across complex business domains. Key Responsibilities: -Design and develop scalable data pipelines in Palantir Foundry using tools such as Code Workbook, Foundry Ontology, and Slate.Ingest, transform, and model large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files). -Build and maintain Foundry ontologies and object models to support enterprise-wide data applications. -Develop low-code/no-code applications, dashboards, and interactive UIs for end users using Foundry tools. -Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance through best practices and secure access controls. -Monitor, debug, and optimize data pipeline performance and system reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to implement solutions aligned with business goals. -Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer to other team members. -Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. -5+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipeline development, ontology modeling, and application building. -Proficient in Python (PySpark) and SQL. -Solid understanding of data integration, data modeling, and transformation techniques. -Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. -Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
