Compensation: $15/hour
Schedule: Part-Time (under 5 hours/week, max 20 hours/month; potential to convert to Full-Time after training and trust is established)
NextGen Coding Company is seeking a detail-oriented QA Developer to ensure the accuracy, quality, and reliability of our software projects. This role is ideal for U.S.-based candidates available during Eastern Time hours, with preference for those located in New York City. The position emphasizes extremely high accuracy and quick turnaround times, as work will be judged based on precision and speed.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to validate software quality.
β’ Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across full-stack applications.
β’ Test APIs, data flows, and integrations to ensure seamless system performance.
β’ Validate accuracy and stability in projects spanning cloud platforms, data engineering, and advanced technologies such as AI/ML, blockchain, computer vision, and gaming applications.
β’ Document and track defects, collaborating with engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
β’ Contribute to QA best practices and continuous improvement in the development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience in software quality assurance or QA engineering.
β’ Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
β’ Knowledge of RESTful API testing and debugging tools (e.g., Postman).
β’ Exposure to full-stack web development, data engineering, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
β’ Interest in emerging technologies like AI/ML, blockchain, computer vision, or game development.
β’ Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to deliver accurate results under deadlines.
