Our client is looking for Payment SME for Long Term Contract project in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). below is the detailed requirement. Job Role : Payment SME Location : Charlotte, NC Duration : Long Term Contract Job Description: "We are seeking a skilled and proactive Payment SME to join our team, responsible for supporting and enhancing payment applications in a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, automation, CI/CD, and payment systems, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Scienceor related field with 10+Years of Experience. • Provide Level 2 support for payment applications, resolving issues reported by users or monitoring systems. • Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability. • Maintain and update application documentation, knowledge base articles, and support runbooks. • Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and resolve application defects. • Participate in the onboarding of new payment applications and services, ensuring smooth integration and deployment. • Monitor application performance and availability using tools like AppDynamics and Splunk, identifying areas for improvement. • Automate repetitive tasks and manual processes related to application deployment and maintenance. • Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure efficient and reliable deployments. • Support OpenShift deployments, troubleshoot middleware (Tomcat/Embedded Tomcat), and manage certificates (OpenSSL, Venafi). • Configure and implement AVI load balancers for high availability and scalability. • Ensure compliance with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, BlackDuck, and Checkmarx. • Manage changes using ServiceNow and follow ITIL-based incident and change management processes. • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Contribute to team knowledge sharing and participate in problem-solving discussions. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments. • Experience with application monitoring and log analysis tools. • Proficiency in Bash scripting; basic knowledge of Java and Gradle build systems. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, OpenShift, and middleware applications. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Knowledge of payment systems and domain-specific processes. • Experience with certificate management, load balancer configuration, and security scanning tools. • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Understanding of ITIL framework and incident/change management processes.
