Job Role : Payment SME Location : Charlotte, NC Duration : Long Term Contract Job Description: "We are seeking a skilled and proactive Payment SME to join our team, responsible for supporting and enhancing payment applications in a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, automation, CI/CD, and payment systems, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Scienceor related field with 10+Years of Experience. β€’ Provide Level 2 support for payment applications, resolving issues reported by users or monitoring systems. β€’ Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability. β€’ Maintain and update application documentation, knowledge base articles, and support runbooks. β€’ Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and resolve application defects. β€’ Participate in the onboarding of new payment applications and services, ensuring smooth integration and deployment. β€’ Monitor application performance and availability using tools like AppDynamics and Splunk, identifying areas for improvement. β€’ Automate repetitive tasks and manual processes related to application deployment and maintenance. β€’ Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure efficient and reliable deployments. β€’ Support OpenShift deployments, troubleshoot middleware (Tomcat/Embedded Tomcat), and manage certificates (OpenSSL, Venafi). β€’ Configure and implement AVI load balancers for high availability and scalability. β€’ Ensure compliance with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, BlackDuck, and Checkmarx. β€’ Manage changes using ServiceNow and follow ITIL-based incident and change management processes. β€’ Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. β€’ Contribute to team knowledge sharing and participate in problem-solving discussions. β€’ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments. β€’ Experience with application monitoring and log analysis tools. β€’ Proficiency in Bash scripting; basic knowledge of Java and Gradle build systems. β€’ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, OpenShift, and middleware applications. β€’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). β€’ Knowledge of payment systems and domain-specific processes. β€’ Experience with certificate management, load balancer configuration, and security scanning tools. β€’ Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems. β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills. β€’ Understanding of ITIL framework and incident/change management processes.
