Pentaho/Databricks/Spark Python Developer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Columbus, OH that is seeking a Right-to-Hire Pentaho/Databricks/Spark Python Developer for a minimum 9-month contract. There is a possibility of extension and long-term full-time role with client. Requirements • 4-5 years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse environments - understanding of controls, discovery of data • Strong in relational databases and ETL processes using Pentaho/Databricks/Spark; Pentaho experience preferred • Familiarity with data modeling • Python Object-Oriented Development experience is a plus, but highly preferred • Python scripting experience with pandas/dataframes • Proficient in ETL, SQL, Databases, and Data Management • Proficient in application development skills for more than one technology as well as multiple design techniques • Working proficiency in development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks • Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security • Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages • Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software • PAM/IAM - Access Management knowledge is nice to have The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
