Role description
Duration: 5-month contract Job Description: • We are seeking a People/HR Data Analytics Consultant with expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and People Analytics to design and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic HR and workforce decisions. • This role combines strong analytical and engineering capabilities — from data ingestion and warehouse management to dashboarding and advanced analytics — to turn complex employee and organizational data into actionable intelligence for business leaders. Responsibilities: Data Management & Engineering: • Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and warehouse solutions that integrate HR, employee, and business systems data. Query Development & Data Transformation: • Develop and optimize SQL or Python-based queries to transform raw datasets into structured, actionable insights for reports and dashboards. Dashboarding & Reporting: • Build and maintain dynamic BI dashboards and visualizations highlighting key workforce and organizational metrics (e.g., attrition, hiring, DEI, performance). Collaboration with EDW Team: • Partner closely with the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team to onboard new data sources, validate data integrity, and maintain alignment with evolving data architecture. Data Analysis & Insights: • Conduct exploratory, statistical, and predictive analyses on employee data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights. Stakeholder Partnership: • Collaborate with HR, People Operations, Finance, and L&D teams to deliver analytics that drive strategy and operational improvements. Data Quality & Governance: • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with privacy and security standards for sensitive employee information. Automation & Efficiency: • Streamline data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes through automation and optimized workflows. Predictive Analytics: • Build models to forecast workforce trends (e.g., turnover, hiring demand, skill development). Experience: • 4-7 years of experience in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering, preferably in a People Analytics or HR Data environment. • Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R) for query optimization, data manipulation, and analysis. • Proven experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, pipelines, and ETL processes. • Experience collaborating with EDW teams and contributing to enterprise data architecture. • Experience working with HR, employee, or workforce data from systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar. • Deep respect for data privacy, compliance, and confidentiality standards. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
